This form is identical to the #830 NEARLY ME BASIC® Tapered Classic, but it is made with extra lightweight "whipped" silicone gel. The #835 is 35% lighter than the #830.
The NEARLY ME BASIC® Line of breast forms are an economical option with shallower profiles and soft yet extra-durable polyurethane outer film.
“Tapered” means that the upper profile of the form is shallower, the form is thinner toward the wings, and the apex is slightly lower. The back profile of the #835 is contoured to fit the curve of the chest wall.
“Classic” means that the shape is asymmetrical and each form is either a right or a left. This is great for a custom fit. The short outer wing on this classic asymmetrical form allows for free arm movement. The classic asymmetrical shape is designed to match the shape of a bra cup.
“Whipped” silicone gel forms are very popular because they are lighter, but the decision to wear a lighter form should be considered carefully. Consult your Certified Mastectomy Fitter to make sure your bra and breast form fit correctly if you feel that your breast form is too heavy.
